Half-Life 2 Xbox Erstes großes Review ist da!

Wir verwöhnten PC-Spieler warten bereits auf das Addon Aftermath, während die Xbox-Konsoleros erst jetzt in den Genuß des besten Shooters seit Half-Life kommen.
Die Kollegen von ign.com haben sich jetzt die Xbox-Version angeschaut und sind wieder einmal begeistert von Valves Qualitätsarbeit:
Presentation: 9,5
Graphics: 9,0
Sound: 9,5
Gameplay: 10
Lasting Appeal: 8,5
Overall: 9,4

Having said all that, if you don't have a billion dollar PC set-up and you're itching for this fall's knockout title? Um, yeah: Half-Life 2 is it. Get it, own it, and you will be a happy, enriched person. If you haven't played the PC version, then there really isn't much to say except get it. The story itself is worthy of great praise, but the way it's implemented into the gameplay, along with amazingly fresh missions that all blend into one another, make this easily one of the best games on Xbox this year, if not the best.

Sieht so aus als ob auch Xbox-Besitzer viel Spaß mit "unserem" Spiel haben dürften.

Die Texturen! igitt! 
Eigendlich kann die Xbox doch mehr, sie hat sogar extra-Textur Speicher.
"Grafik 9,0" genau! 
Aber vom spielerischen her ist die hohe Wertung logisch. ist schließlich HL2

Naja, man sieht aber ziemlich genau, dass die bilder extra fürs web gespeichert wurden, wobei automatisch die qualität gesenkt wird.

na ich weiss nicht... ich stelle es mir extrem kacke vor mit so einem xbox-controller. ansonsten...gut aussehen tuts schon.

also ich habe hl2 auf der xbox gezoggt und es sah nicht so aus wie auf den bildern viiiiel besser !
Die bilder wurden anscheinend von der quali bissl runter gedreht.
Keine ahnung aber die bilder zeigen nicht das was auf der xbox zu sehen ist

ihr müsst nur bedenken das ein TV nur eine auflösung von 640x800 hat, und ein pc dann halt min 1024xirgendwas, so das auf eine größere entfernung das dann doch besser aussieht!

Also für einen Konsolentitel ist die Grafik sehr vernünftig. Wenn das Spiel zur Xbox 360 aufwärts kompatibel ist, sieht es sogar noch besser aus und nähert sich der Qualität der PC-Version.

Na klar, die Grafik kann natürlich nicht mit der Pc-Version mithalten, da weiß doch jeder ganz genau!! Und für eine Konsole find ich die Grafik garnicht mal sooo schlecht, vorallem, wenn es original (also nicht auf bildern, sondern am TV) noch besser ausehen soll, ist das doch ganz ordentlich!
Kaufen werd ichs mir natürlich nicht, hab eh keine Xbox

Ich find es unverständlich, dass die von ign das als JPG abspeichern. Wenn es auf einzelne Pixel ankommt, wie in einem Review wo man einen möglichst objektiven und unverfälschten Eindruck des Titles vermitteln will, dann sollte man doch PNG verwenden.

sieht für high-performence pc gamer ziemlich schäbig aus, aber für die Konsolenzocker ist es was geiles *lol* *räusper*
