Nicht einmal eine Woche ist vergangen, seit die letzte Steam-Client-Beta beendet und das Update für alle veröffentlicht wurde. Nun gibt es erneut ein Update für alle, die es freiwillig testen möchten. Es enthält zwar keine neuen Features, dafür eine Reihe an Bugfixes für das Programm. Der Schwerpunkt des Steam-Patch liegt auf Verbesserungen bei den Downloads. Hier der komplette Changelog des Beta-Updates:
- Fixed not correctly pausing any current downloads when launching a game
- Fixed rare cache corruption caused by defragging
- Fixed vgui crash when hitting pageup/pagedown in a sectioned list-panel
- Fixed rare crash when downloading
- Fixed -voicerelay steam command line to actually force use of the relay
Um an der Beta teilzunehmen, muss diese einfach im Steam-Optionenmenü ausgewählt werden. Das Programm startet danach automatisch neu und lädt das Beta-Update runter.
