"At the moment, the game does not seem to know which game mode should be used unless the map is listed in the gamemodes.txt file in your Counter-Strike Global Offensivecsgo directory. You'll need to open the file in Notepad and add your map to it. What I did is find all occurrences of an existing map that uses the game mode my custom map should use, and then just copy that, replacing the names where necessary.
Also, make sure you set bot_quota to 10 in the in-game console. Not sure what the default is. "
