Nach unzähligen Beta-Versionen der Co-op Mod
Synergy, ist nun die Version 1.0 released worden. Jene enthält größtenteils nur Bugfixes und kleinere Änderungen, außerdem benötigt man nicht mehr Half Life 2: Deathmatch um die Mod spielen zu können. Für die unter euch, die die Co-op Mod noch nicht kennen, hat das Team noch drei neue Screenshots parat:
Der relativ auführliche Changelog sieht wie folgt aus:
- Synergy no longer requires you to own Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
- Added command "GetSteamID" to help players obtain their true Steam ID
- mcf_dumpentinfo changed so that 0 means ignore, 1 means extract raw and 2 means extract and show changes by the MCF
- Mega PhysCannon has been reimplemented so the Citadel levels work (and Episode 1)
- Changes have been made to Prisoner Pod to allow all clients in the server to enter, this has been done so that the Citadel levels work
- Weapon Stripper entity has been updated to work with multiple players
- Combine Balls no longer collide with eachother
- Added console command "mp_weaponallowdrop" to enable and disable the ability for players to drop their weapons (via "weapondrop")
- Players can now "extract" ammo from dropped weapons (still leaving the weapon behind, for another player to get)
- Checkpoint entities can not spawn players if it can not find the ground within 128 units below it's origin
- Airboat Gun Turret no longer kills friendly players
- Added weapon_oldmanharpoon for the Lost Coast level
- Added Lost Coast support to Synergy (can now play Lost Coast)
- Players do not get spawn-killed if they are inside a trigger_noblock
- Updated the Steam Application Loader (will clear cache files if you change mount applications)
- Added npc_fisherman (Fisherman) for the Lost Coast level
- Added filter_activator_playerclass entity, which now will allow level designers to trigger events for specific player classes
- func_tank has been updated to work with Half-Life 2 and Episode 1
- Fixed bug where NPCs would get stuck when playing scripted scenes due to lag compensation
- Updated NPC TargetID (no longer displays "Friend" or "Enemy" and text has been made smaller)
- Fixed bug where melee weapons would hit the vehicle you are in
- Fixed bad aiming angles in the passenger seat of vehicles
- Fixed bug where players could not pick up objects under them (grenades, items, weapons, etc.)
- Players now have a proper animation for the crane vehicle
- Fixed bug where func_door would not properly play moving/close sounds

Patch relativ klein, jedoch benötigt ihr die Beta 2.6, welche ihr dann auf Version 1.0 patchen könnt. Die Beta 2.6 findet ihr in unserer FileDB:
Nachdem ihr die Beta 2.6 installiert habt, müsst ihr nun den Patch auf Version 1.0 installieren, eine Vollversion ist bis jetzt nicht verfügbar:
