Beschreibung
Die größten und wichtigsten Änderungen der Version 1.1 von Science & Industry 2 betreffen die Models und Skins. So erhielten nun beide Fraktionen eigene Skins. Des Weiteren wurden viele Probleme mit den Waffen behoben. Interessant ist auch, dass sich das Mod-Team zur neuen Orange Box-Version der Source-Engine umorientiert hat. Diese und die restlichen Änderungen sind wie immer im Changelog nachzulesen:
- Moved to the Orange Box engine
- Updated the fgd for use with the Orange Box
- No longer need HL2:DM to play
- Scoreboard is significantly more functional now
- MCL and AFD now have blue and green skins respectively on the terrorist model
- Added the AFD Tommygun
- Fixed the AFD Pistol skin
- Added shooting sounds to both the MCL and AFD pistols
- Added the MCL Shotgun model (but with a white skin)
- Industrial has been somewhat revamped to make it easier to tell which base you are in
- Fixed not seeing what direction players were facing.
- Fixed scientists not respawning if they happened to get thrown out of the map
- Right clicking while carrying a resource with your briefcase out no longer restores normal speed
- Fixed having certain keys bound to "vote" causing the game to crash
- Fixed DNA bar in the hud not accurately representing the progress of the game
- Fixed games ending at seemingly random times
