Die Steam-Entwickler haben vergangene Nacht eine neue Version der Steam-Beta auf die Server gespielt. Es ist bereits der 20. Patch seit dem Start Ende Februar. Neben den üblichen Bugfixes bringt das Update auch ein kleines neues Feature mit sich: Ab sofort kann das Ingame-Overlay seperat für jedes Spiel deaktiviert werden. Sollte es also mal in einem bestimmten Game Probleme machen, muss man es nicht komplett für alle Titel ausschalten. Der Changelog im Detail:
- Fixed bug where Steam windows could render black or grayed out when alt-tabbed out of a game or running over remote desktop
- Fixed a crash installing a game available via a hardware promo if the app info was not already fetched
- Added the ability to disable the in-game overlay per-game in the game properties dialog
- Fixed many links in the client in chat/details to open in the client whenever the link appears to be from the Store, News, or Community instead of popping an external browser
- Fixed not being able to navigate to sub paths from the file open dialog drop down, and changed the add non-Steam game browse to use the better native browse dialog
Außerdem wurde noch ein Problem behoben, dass durch die Nutzung von Alt-Tab verursacht wurde. Das Update wird wie immer automatisch runtergeladen und installiert.
